The iron tungsten belongs to the ferroalloy series (tungsten content is 70%-80%), which is an alloy composed of tungsten and iron, and is used as an alloy additive for steelmaking. Commonly used iron tungsten contains 70% and 80% tungsten.
Iron tungsten is made of tungsten manganese iron ore in an electric furnace with carbon reduction. Mainly used as an alloy element adder for tungsten alloy steels (such as high-speed steels). The tungsten iron produced in my country includes three varieties: W701, W702, and W65, with a tungsten content of about 65~70%. Because the melting point is high and cannot flow out in liquid form, it is produced by agglomeration method or iron extraction method.
